Founded in 2012, Emendo is a leading independent Dutch corporate finance boutique with a self-built international partnership network of M&A boutiques with HQ in Amsterdam. We serve a wide range of (recurring) clients including entrepreneurs, private equity, corporates and public & governmental institutions. Our close-knit team consists of 12 investment bankers offering M&A services with a bulge-bracket quality and mentality combined with the flexibility of an entrepreneurial boutique firm. We are sector agnostic and in recent years achieved an average annual accumulated deal value of well above €1bn.

What to expect?

During your 4 month internship, you will get the full experience of the role of a first-year Investment Banking Analyst by being predominantly involved in live deal execution. This includes being involved in all aspects of a live transaction ranging from assisting in preparation of process materials, engaging with clients and having the possibility to join meetings. By doing so, you will rapidly develop your knowledge within an entrepreneurial stimulating environment, including enhancing your financial modelling, valuation analyses and broader M&A skillset.

After successfully completing an internship at Emendo, there is always a possibility to start as an Analyst at Emendo, as we are ongoingly looking to add talent to our team. We structurally employ 2-3 interns, hence you will always have another intern alongside yourself.

What are we looking for?

• Candidates being in their final year of their Bachelors study, or studying for a Masters;
• Strong entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality;
• Having distinct academic results as well as extra-curricular activities;
• Fluency in both Dutch and English;
• Previous experience in corporate finance, appreciated but not a requirement.
