Chequers is currently investing its 18th investment vehicle, managing over 3 billion euros in assets, with equity investments ranging from 40 to 150 million euros per transaction. Job description
The intern will be heavily involved in each stage of executing investment opportunities, providing a comprehensive view of the mid-market private equity profession.
The intern will notably contribute to:
- The analysis of investment opportunities: preliminary analyses, research on target companies, market studies, strategic analyses;
- Participation in drafting investment notes for the committee;
- Financial modelling and company valuation.
Throughout the internship, the intern will be supported by investment professionals and will be in constant contact with the entire investment team.
The intern will be based in Paris during the 6 month period. Given Chequers' strong international exposure, the intern will predominantly be focused on Benelux opportunities but could also be active on projects in France, Italy, Germany etc.
Profile
- Graduate from a top business school or engineering school;
- A first experience in investment banking or private equity is a plus;
- Autonomous, rigorous, strong analytical skills, curious and motivated;
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written. French is a plus
