About TowerBrook Capital Partners
TowerBrook is an investment management firm, co-headquartered in New York and London. Since inception in 2001, TowerBrook has made 122 investments on both sides of the Atlantic, with over $26Bn Assets under Management.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to Champion others – founders, entrepreneurs, management teams, our investors, and our colleagues. We are a single, cohesive team that invests across a number of strategies, allowing us to be flexible, efficient, and decisive. With deep industry expertise and strong network relationships, we take a focused, intentional approach to investing in North America and Europe across four sectors: Business Services, Consumer Products and Services, Healthcare, and Financial Services. Based on a clear thesis for value creation, we look to equip management teams across our portfolio with the transformational capital, skills and resources they need to build excellent businesses. We build trust by aligning visions, fostering transparent communication, and solving challenges together. We believe these are key elements for long-term success.
We invest across three core strategies – Private Equity, Structured Opportunities, and Delta – providing access to opportunities across capital structures and market cycles. Whether through majority or flexible minority investments, we partner with business owners who seek not just capital, but an engaged and supportive ally to help them achieve their goals:
- Private equity: TowerBrook primarily pursues control-oriented private equity investments in large and middle market companies, partnering with highly capable management teams, often in situations characterized by complexity
- Structured opportunities: Non-control investments in large and middle market companies, structured to generate equity-like returns with downside protection. TowerBrook invests through a structured opportunities fund which allows us to identify and develop a broad array of opportunities
- Delta: Control and non-control growth equity investments in companies with demonstrated specific measurable ESG impact
Responsible Ownership (RO) principles are integrated into every stage of our investment process and across all dimensions of our firm. Our approach to RO is built on five Ps: Rooted in our Purpose, we focus on actions designed to benefit People, Planet and Partnership while delivering improved Performance. TowerBrook is a certified B Corp, forming part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance.
