The Financial Career Cycle allows students to orientate themselves on careers in various financial sectors. During ten days, in-house days, on-campus workshops, dinners and informal activities will be organized. As a Financial Career Cycle committee member, you will get to experience the event both as a participant and behind the scenes.
The Financial Career Cycle has a broad scope and an orientational approach making it a fit for all sorts of partners. Participating companies in the past included investment banks, multinationals, strategy consultants, traders, assurance firms, financial boutiques, and real estate advisors.
The different tasks for the committee members are Marketing Manager, Stand Manager, Communication Manager, and Activity Manager. As a committee member responsibility is given to you to ensure that everything regarding your tasks is completed. Together, you make sure every company event is a success. When the Financial Career Cycle kicks off, your tasks consist of ensuring the day runs according to plan. This entails making sure all attending students arrive at the location and assisting company employees with anything they might need. You will be the representative of the Financial Study association Rotterdam towards the attending companies.
As a committee member you are responsible, among other things, for the following tasks:
- Setting up a promotion plan;
- Help during the in-house days, on-campus workshops and dinners;
- Marketing activities and logistics of the event;
- Contact with partners during the event;
