Navus Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on high-tech and sustainable start-ups and scale-ups. We are part of a family office linked to Lely, a company known for farming innovations. Founded in 2013, we invest across various sectors, primarily focusing on transitions in food and energy. The firm benefits from the knowledge and network of the Lely family business but operates independently from Lely's business strategy. The team at Navus Ventures is driven and comprised of individuals with diverse technological and business backgrounds.

• Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA): Automating knowledge and robotizing labor.
• Open Field Agriculture: Automating and digitizing crop management.
• Alternative Proteins/Ingredients: Future-proof mass production.
• Energy Transition: Electrification and storage for SME industry.

Navus Ventures primarily invests in Europe, with a strong presence in the Netherlands. Our proximity to investments allows for active involvement in strategy, finance, and operations. Our network and investment scope cover Europe, while our business and industry network is global.

Investment and Support Strategy

Navus Ventures invests and supports companies at different stages of growth, with a focus on the late seed to A stage. We provide support in areas such as tech development, team building, funding, product development, scaling sales, supply chain management, partnerships, and international growth strategy.

We combine the principles of venture capital and family office investing. This unique approach allows us to stay shareholders for extended periods when relevant, but we also have an exit strategy for part of our portfolio. We typically acquire minority stakes and work with venture capital shareholders, ensuring a collaborative investment process involving various types of investors.
