As we continue to grow our global business CBRE Investment Management has the need for a Senior Analyst within the Global Portfolio Management team (Indirect Strategies). You will play a critical role in our operation. Your primary role is to support Portfolio Managers with the management of separate account client portfolios. The role is broad and offers you the opportunity to be involved in various activities for multiple clients from the day-to-day operations to the formulation of strategy. You will be reporting into the Senior Global Portfolio Manager.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Provide support with portfolio construction, on-going monitoring of the portfolios and reporting to clients through production of quarterly reports and client presentations;
  • Responsible for client investment data in the client investment plan and databases;
  • Track relevant data for client performance and investment performance;
  • Assist with responses to global clients’ information requests;
  • Support the analysis of a sector specialism within the Global Portfolio Management team, and
  • Participate in existing investment monitoring as well as the review of investment proposals, have an understanding of the forecast returns and risks for individual investments and be aware of relevant issues that may impact portfolios.
  • The candidate will be part of the Global Portfolio Management team (currently ten people) and will closely engage with various department of the organization, such as the Regional Investment teams in the US, Asia, Australia, UK and the Netherlands, the Financial Operations team and Analytics.

  • Preferably around 3 relevant industry experience that has been acquired in a real estate investment, finance or investment management environment. Direct involvement in institutional real estate transactions and/or operations would be a nice-to-have;
  • Strong financial modelling and data(base) proficiency;
  • Master Degree with strong grades in a relevant economics, finance, or real estate field;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing (in English in particular);
  • Relevant international experience – be it professional or educational - would be a nice-to-have.
