Join us on an Off-Cycle Internship for 3-6 months working within our Investment Banking, Markets, Corporate Banking or Quantitative Analytics business areas. Immerse yourself in our work and culture and gain invaluable insights into life as a Full-Time Analyst with this longer internship.

This programme provides an opportunity to gain practical experience within the area, undertaking tasks of real-world value to the business and its clients. You’ll take your first steps in the extremely challenging and fascinating world of algorithmic trading and data science.
Working with a broad spectrum of colleagues, you’ll learn how data science fits into our business. What’s more, you’ll help our team to turn mathematical and algorithmic ideas into trading reality by:
- Learning to use statistical models and algorithmic coding in practice
- Testing practical machine learning techniques
- Researching and implementing new models
- Expanding our computational platform by helping solve complex software development problem

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this programme, you must have completed or be in the final year of a postgraduate qualification, Masters or higher, in a technical discipline such as Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Financial Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or other STEM subjects.
Additionally, applicants should have strong programming skills, in Java, C++ or Python.
