Opportunities available

In addition to positions in London, year-round 3 month Investment Banking internship opportunities are available in our Amsterdam office.
The Graduate Programme
Graduates are our key future talent stream and new joiners will typically enjoy early exposure to business-critical projects, gaining valuable experience as they work alongside senior managers as valued members of the team. The programme kicks off with a comprehensive introduction to Barclays products and services, offering a thorough grounding in the financial markets, and continues with a range of presentations, case studies and workshops. Graduates can also expect to undertake role-specific training and one-on-one mentoring.
Internships
Most of our internships last for 9 weeks over the summer, although we do have off-cycle opportunities too, for up to four months in duration. In addition our Spring Programmes which are one week long give first-year students (or second years on four-year courses) incredible early insights into a career in the financial world. In all cases, you’ll find yourself at the heart of the action. You’ll gain real experience in a real role, working on anything from live transactions and marketing projects to research and analysis, according to the business area you join. As well as benefiting from extensive training before and during the programme, you’ll have regular opportunities to network with intern colleagues, recent graduates and senior members of the firm.
